Sending a bank transfer is like sending cash, and it is almost impossible to cancel the transaction or trace where the money went. Never share information that could be used by someone else to access your bank accounts. If another member asks you for money, be sure to report it to us immediately.<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\" class=\" translation-block\"><strong>Protect your personal information<\/strong><br>Never share personal information\u2014such as your social security number (AMKA), home or work address, or details about your daily routine (e.g., going to a specific gym every Wednesday afternoon)\u2014with people you do not know. If you have children, do not share information about them (name, age, etc.) on your profile or during the initial stages of communication.<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\" class=\" translation-block\"><strong>Be careful with your interactions with others.<\/strong> Be wary if the other person refuses to meet in person or talk via phone or video call; they might not be who they claim to be. If someone dodges your questions or pressures you into a serious relationship without having met you or gotten to know you well, consider the possibility that something isn't right.<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\" class=\" translation-block\"><strong>It is a good idea to report any suspicious or offensive behavior you encounter.<\/strong> You are the best judge of whether and when someone has crossed the line. If this happens, please block the user and let us know about the person violating our terms. See below for some examples of violations a user might commit:<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><ul><li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><ul><li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><ul><li aria-level=\"1\">It asks you for money or a donation\/donations.<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">You can see that it is a minor member.<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">Harasses or threatens you, or sends you offensive messages.<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">They exhibit inappropriate or harmful behavior during or after your in-person meeting.<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">Discovery of a fake profile<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\" class=\" translation-block\">Spam or solicitation messages, including attempts to sell products or services or links to commercial websites.<br><em>If you are concerned about suspicious behavior from any member profile or message exchange, you can submit a report <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/tickfortwo.com\/contact-us\/\" target=\"_self\">here<\/a><\/strong>. You can find more information in the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/tickfortwo.com\/odigies-xriston\/\" target=\"_self\">App User Guidelines.<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><p class=\" translation-block\"><strong>Protect your account<br><\/strong>Make sure your account password is strong, and always be mindful of your surroundings when entering it to log in. Please note that Tick For Two will never send you an email asking for details such as your username or password. If you receive such an email, please notify us immediately.<\/p><h4><b>Meeting a member in person<\/b><\/h4><ul><li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><ul><li aria-level=\"1\" class=\" translation-block\"><strong>No need to rush<\/strong><br>We recommend that, once there is mutual acceptance of the interest you expressed or received, your initial communication takes place via the App\u2019s text messaging feature. Once you have confirmed that the person is indeed the one you were looking for\u2014and you are comfortable with the information they have shared\u2014we suggest moving to the second stage of communication: making a voice or video call through the App (without revealing your mobile number). This is purely a precautionary measure, giving you the opportunity to verify that you truly want to meet them in person.<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\" class=\" translation-block\"><strong>First meeting only in a public place<\/strong><br>We recommend that your initial meetings with the other member take place in a public area where there are other people around\u2014never at a private home (yours or theirs) or in an isolated location. If the other member insists or pressures you to meet in an isolated or questionable spot, do not go, and cut off all further communication with them.<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\" class=\" translation-block\"><b>Before the first date, let a friend or family member know where you will be meeting the other member.<\/b> You should definitely inform a friend or family member about the time and place of the meeting\u2014at least for the first date. Also, make sure to carry your mobile phone with you and ensure it is charged!<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\" class=\" translation-block\"><strong>Consider your mode of transport for the meeting<br><\/strong>You should ensure that, for your first date, you are able to leave whenever you wish. If you drive yourself, it is a good idea to have a GPS app ready for an easy return trip, or to have someone you know on standby to pick you up in their own vehicle.<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\" class=\" translation-block\"><strong>Know your limits<br><\/strong>Remember that certain substances, such as alcohol, have specific effects or side effects that can impair your judgment and mental clarity. If the person or member you are meeting tries to persuade or pressure you to take a substance or to drink more than you wish or can handle, do not give in\u2014leave the date.<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\" class=\" translation-block\"><strong>Keep an eye on your personal belongings and never let your drink out of your sight<br><\/strong>Make sure you see where and how your drink is prepared, and keep an eye on it at all times. We recommend accepting a drink only when you see it being served to you by the bartender or waiter. Many substances added to drinks to facilitate sexual assault are odorless, colorless, and tasteless. Also, ensure that you keep personal items\u2014such as your mobile phone, bag, wallet, and anything else containing your personal information\u2014on your person or close by at all times.<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\" class=\" translation-block\"><strong>If you don't feel comfortable, get up and leave<br><\/strong>If you don't feel comfortable, we advise you not to force yourself to stay, but rather to get up and leave the date. Especially if your gut tells you something is wrong and you don't feel safe, ask the bartender or waiter for help.<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\" class=\" translation-block\"><strong>LGBTQ+ and Travel<\/strong><br>You can certainly use the Tick For Two app while traveling, but please be careful! There is no place in the world that is completely safe or free from potential risks. We recognize the importance of inclusivity regarding all gender identities and sexual orientations, while also acknowledging that some countries have specific laws targeting LGBTQ+ individuals. If you have included your sexual orientation in your profile and choose to use Tick For Two, we advise you to hide your sexual orientation from your profile until you have left that specific area.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><h4><b>Sexual health &amp; consent<\/b><\/h4><ul><li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><ul><li aria-level=\"1\" class=\" translation-block\"><strong>Protect yourself<\/strong><br>When used correctly and consistently, condoms can significantly reduce the risk of contracting sexually transmitted diseases (STDs)\u2014such as HIV\u2014as well as the risk of transmitting STDs to others. However, keep in mind that some STDs, such as herpes and HPV, can also be transmitted through skin-to-skin contact. The risk of contracting certain STDs can be reduced through vaccination.<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\" class=\" translation-block\"><strong>Stay informed about your health status<\/strong><br>Not all STDs present with obvious symptoms. Make sure to monitor your health and prevent the spread of STDs through regular testing.<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\" class=\" translation-block\"><strong>Talk about any issue you may have<\/strong><br>Before engaging in physical intimacy with your partner, discuss sexual health and testing for STDs. Also, remember that in some countries, knowingly transmitting an STD is a criminal offense.<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\" class=\" translation-block\"><strong>Consent<\/strong><br>Any sexual activity must begin with the consent of both individuals and should involve ongoing confirmation that your partner is comfortable with what is happening. Verbal communication can help both you and your partner remember to respect each other's boundaries. Remember that consent can be withdrawn at any time, and sex must not take place out of obligation or coercion. Do not continue if your partner appears uncomfortable or unsure about the situation, or if they are unable to give consent due to the influence of drugs or alcohol.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><h4><b>Organizations offering help, support, or advice<\/b><\/h4><p>Remember that even if you follow the advice above, no risk-reduction method is perfect.
